چکیده

Abstract Spectral irradiance scale in the wavelength range from 250 nm to 2500 was realized at National Institute of Metrology (NIM) on basis a large area tungsten carbide–carbon (WC-C) high temperature fixed point blackbody, which is composed 14 mm diameter WC-C cell and variable blackbody BB3500MP as furnace. A series 1000 W FEL halogen lamps were used transfer standards. The new spectral compared with based variable-temperature BB3500M, divergence between these two methods varied -0.66% 0.79% 280 2100 nm. measurement uncertainty fixed-point analyzed, expanded estimated 3.9% nm, 1.4% 0.43 % 400 0.27% 800 0.25% 0.62% 1500 0.76% 2000 2.4% respectively. In 300 improved obviously: decreased by more than 25% blackbody. Below became higher because signal noise ratio poor. Above 1100 contribution decreases, therefore uncertainties are almost same level. also realize correlated colour distribution filament lamp, deviation method -0.5 K -2.9 K,

Ultraviolet Spectral Irradiance Scale Comparison: 210 nm to 300 nm

Comparison of the irradiances from a number of ultraviolet spectral irradiance standards, based on different physical principles, showed agreement to within their combined standard uncertainties as assigned to them by NIST. The wavelength region of the spectral irradiance comparison was from 210 nm to 300 nm. The spectral irradiance sources were: an electron storage ring, 1000 W quartz-halogen ...

Reflectance measurements of human skin from the ultraviolet to the shortwave infrared (250 nm to 2500 nm)

While published literature of the optical properties of human skin is prevalent for the visible region, data are sparse in the ultraviolet and shortwave infrared. Spectral imaging has expanded from primarily an earth remote sensing tool to a range of applications including medicine and security applications, as examples. These emerging applications will likely benefit from exemplar data of huma...

The NIST High Accuracy Scale for Absolute Spectral Response from 406 nm to 920 nm

We describe how the National Institute of Standards and Technology obtains a scale of absolute spectral response from 406 nm to 920 nm. This scale of absolute spectral response is based solely on detector measurements traceable to the NIST High Accuracy Cryogenic Radiometer (HACR). Silicon photodiode light-trapping detectors are used to transfer optical power measurements from the HACR to a mon...

Does chlorine peroxide absorb below 250 nm?

Low-lying singlet and triplet electronic excited states of ClOOCl are presented. Calculations of the excitation energies and oscillator strengths are reported using excited state coupled cluster response methods, as well as the complete active space self-consistent field method with the full Breit-Pauli spin-orbit operator. These calculations predict that for ClOOCl there should be a weakly abs...

Preparation of dental amalgam and spectral diagnosis of mercury in plasmas-laser in the region of 250 nm – 850 nm

In this paper we presents results of the spectral study of plasmas-laser of dental amalgam by technique Laser-induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS). Plasmas were generated focusing the beam of a Nd: YAG laser on the matrix of the mixture Ag-Sn-Cu and on amalgams with different proportions of mercury (3:2, 5:2, 6:2). Based on the spectral results and reported atomic parameters, became estimation...
